Richard A. Low, a Coaldale native, received his law degree from the University of Alberta in 1980. After articling with Ross D. Wilde and becoming a partner in 1988, he founded Richard A. Low & Company in 1992, growing it to six lawyers, including his son Michael. With over 40 years of experience, Richard specializes in real estate, corporate/commercial law, civil litigation, wills and estates, and personal injury. He has contributed to numerous landmark cases across the province. Richard is married to Gayle Hamilton, with whom he has seven children and 28 grandchildren. He is active in various volunteer roles, including serving on the boards of Volunteer Lethbridge and Lethbridge Family Services. In his spare time, Richard enjoys travel, gardening, hiking, fishing, and triathlons, having represented Canada at the 2013 World Triathlon Championships and qualifying for the 2024 event in Spain.
